Kauai’s Enterprise, Alamo & National team (EAN) AWESOME for 2015! »»
Kauai’s Enterprise, Alamo & National team (EAN) was a record-breaker for the 2015 Kauai United Way (KUW) Annual Campaign. Their employee Campaign, which had been trending up in recent years, leapt 50% in 2015 from their total from the previous year. “The management and associates of Enterprise, Alamo and National car rental are nothing short of inspirational,” said KUW executive director Scott Giarman. “They get how important the 80+ social services funded by Kauai United Way make life on our island better for us all.”

In all, 71 employees pledged more than $27,000, an average donation of nearly $400. This total is Kauai United Way’s largest employee pledge amount ever. And, since EAN matches employee gifts at 50%, their combined employee / corporate total came to $41,198, also a Kauai United Way record.
“We are tremendously grateful to the management and staff of EAN for achieving such a successful campaign,” said KUW Campaign Director/Community Liaison, Lynnette Medrano-Stine. “Shannon Maxwell, EAN’s Kauai Group Rental Manager, coordinated a magnificent and fun campaign. Along with such an awesome campaign team, there is absolutely no question in my mind that these good people truly care and have the very best interest for those in need on Kauai.”

"I've enjoyed camping and other outdoor activities, meeting other Scouts, and helping the community in our 'Do A Good Turn' projects. The most rewarding experience for me was achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. I can truly say that Scouting has helped me become a better person."
