The Kauai United Way is searching for an Executive Director who shall have overall responsibility for all aspects of the operation, which has served the social services needs of Kauai for more than 75 years. The Executive Director is responsible for managing the annual fundraising campaign and overseeing day-to-day administrative operations. The Executive Director is expected to maximize revenue income as well as the efficiency with which administrative expenses are utilized. The Executive Director represents Kauai United Way to the media, Participating Agencies, other United Ways, foundations, other non-profits, government and the public. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with exceptional communication skills, an ability to create and execute relevant and effective fundraising campaigns, and is responsive to a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of a diverse set of community leaders.
