We don’t yet know who’s coming or even what instruments will be here but one thing is certain: this will be a rare performance by world-class musicians you definitely do not want to miss. First Hawaiian Bank has provided a boost to the Kaua’i United Way Annual Campaign with both a corporate gift and payroll-deducted donations from many of their management and staff employees. “First Hawaiian has been a huge supporter of the Kaua’i community for many years,” said executive director Scott Giarman. “This gift puts them among our top corporate donors once again this year.”
Non-profit organizations which provide human services to the people of Kauai can apply for Kauai United Way funding for the period July 2018 through June 2019. In order to be eligible for funding, organizations must be able to demonstrate that they:
Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort General Manager Dan King proudly presented a check for $20,000 recently to Kauai United Way (KUW) Campaign Co-Chairs Shannon Maxwell and Peter Wiederoder representing funds raised by the property’s management and associates. “This money will be added to the 2017 Annual Campaign and included in the 2018 KUW allocations to the many social service programs vetted and funded by Kauai United Way, all right here on our island,” said executive director Scott Giarman.
